Background/context: classical & Gratz apparatus. Training: Certified. Client: 70+ and 20 years-accustomed to “the system” or to the syllabus, as it were. [I am aware that this background isn’t sufficient for the science-based community, but I love science, so there’s that. Plus I’m teaching tomorrow and I can’t be internet squabbling.] I know how to avoid what needs to avoided. My question is: when the time comes to return the client to working the muscles that support the shoulder, and when the time comes to help them recruit what they may need to focus on to do that, what have you found helpful? I just need a sprinkle of inspiration.
